[Solved] Installing Gcalcli

Very new to arch linux

Trying to install gcalcli so I can use conky to view my calendar. Any easy way? I downloaded the tarball and inside is only a gcalcli file, no extenstion. I extracted it to my /home/username/ directory and tried ./gcalcli

I get this error:

File "./gcalcli", line 58, in <module>
    from ConfigParser import ConfigParser
ImportError: cannot import name ConfigParser

I have installed python-dateutil, python-gdata and am running python 3 so I don't need elementtree.

Is the gcalcli tarball file I downloaded incomplete?
I've googled how to install gcalcli but it's always just "sudo apt-get install gcalcli" using a Ubuntu repository. Trying that using pacman, it can't find the gcalcli file in my repositories; so it appears I'm stuck with the tarball.
Can anybody provide thorough install instructions for gcalcli for a newbie?

I'd be very grateful.

Cheers

Re: [Solved] Installing Gcalcli

FInally got around to installing an AUR package manager and it took 20 seconds to download and properly install.
