Openbox doesn't accept resolution after tint2

I moved to Openbox. I have also GNOME installed. My native resolution is 1920x1080. The method I use to force it is through xrandr with the commands

xrandr --newmode "1920x1080_60.00" 148.35 1920 2008 2052 2200 1080 1084 1089 1125 +hsync +vsync
xrandr --addmode VGA-0 1920x1080_60.00

After that I add these commands to /etc/gdm/PreSession/Default. It works great in GNOME and it worked great when I installed Openbox. But after I installed tint2 and made it start at startup, Openbox doesn't accept the new resolution. When I try to change it nothing happens.

Meanwhile in GNOME everything is fine.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

if you remove tint2 from autostart, does it still work ?

I removed it but still nothing. Like something "broke"... hmm

That would mean that tint2 probably had nothing to do with it.
Can you also post the output of

xrandr

Normally if you use WMs as opposed to DEs, then the best option is to have an .xinitrc file which will do all the initial setup, if required. I use i3, and have put in xrandr commands to set up dual monitors.
Do you use a xorg.conf file ? If not, then do you have a 10-monitor.conf file? Either of these two files can be used to set up additional modes for your screen if they are not recognized by default.
