man doesn't display manual pages

Hi lads,

recently, I've spotted a very strange and yet very annoying bug. I was about to look up man page for wget, but instead of getting a man page I got:

Manual page wget(1) line ?/? (END)

with blinking cursor at the end of the line. Same stands for every man call. I tried reinstalling, but with no success... Anyone has an idea?

Does this happen as root also?

Is the man database corrupt? Run 'mandb' (as root).

Maybe a full /tmp partition or one with improperly set permissions? 'ls -l /' shows '/tmp' on my machine to be

drwxrwxrwt  10 root root  4096 Jan 12 18:39 tmp

I reinstalled it once again and it works now! O_o Strange... I hate this self-solving problems, I can't find out what's causing them...
