Screen Refresh Artifacts
I get some artifacts that appear on my screen when I open menus. It doesn't always happen but does enough that I would like to resolve it. I normally get a rectangular box and it will be filled with whatever menu item open up over it. I have provided a link with a screen shot. I'm using Gnome DM.

It looks like you may be having the same problem as me? I posted a thread about this a few days back, no replies yet, so it probably doesn't effect many people.
