MPD + Ario

How the heck do you set this up?  I have my Music folder in a seperate NTFS partition, and I pointed my mpd.conf to it, and pressed update database in Ario, but nothing comes up.  I tried following the intructions in the Arch Wiki and MPlayer Community Wiki, but still can't figure it out.  How do you set it up?

Thanks,
Vapour

Re: MPD + Ario

You have to connect ario to localhost.

Re: MPD + Ario

I really suggest you to read this page:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mu … yer_Daemon
MPD is a daemon that can run on another machine even, Ario is a client program that can connect to a running mpd instance. most probably you have mpd running on your machine, that is localhost, you have to set up ario in the preferences to connect to mpd running on localhost
