Disabling irq 17

Ok i have a Hp xw8000 workstation when it boots up i get a disabling irq 17 during the udev process, what i have found out is that the firewire , ethernet and usb are all on this irq 17 so when it get disabled i have no networking at all. Is there anything that i could do so that i can stop this from being disabled. This is a fresh install of arch. if you need any other information just let me know.

I have had IRQ problems with my mainboard too but fixed it by adding 'irqpoll' to grubs menu.lst
You could also try 'irqfixup' and 'noirqbalance'.
