[SOLVED] Tell X to use my other graphics card

Hi guys,

I bought a new notebook with an Intel Core i5 processor which has an integrated VGA Chipset (lspci: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 18) )
Additionally, my notebook has an nVidia GeForce 310M graphics card (lspci: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GT218 [GeForce 310M] (rev a2) )

I tried installing the nouveau driver for the nVidia graphics card but X didn't start so I installed the driver for the intel chipset. X worked! I searched the internet for possible solutions but I couldn't find anything useful (or I did not search properly)

I found this in Xorg.0.log:

[ 15.726] (--) PCI:*(0:0:2:0) 8086:0046:1043:1432 rev 24, Mem @ 0xd3400000/4194304, 0xb0000000/268435456, I/O @ 0x0000e080/8
[ 15.726] (--) PCI: (0:1:0:0) 10de:0a70:1043:1432 rev 162, Mem @ 0xd2000000/16777216, 0xc0000000/268435456, 0xd0000000/33554432, I/O @ 0x0000d000/128, BIOS @ 0x????????/524288

I am sure that the first PCI device (with the star) the intel graphics card is and the second PCI device the nVidia graphics card.
How can I tell X to use the second graphics card?
