Hi, the system recognizes my modem zte and it appears in the network applet, including the system detects the internet company provider, but can not connect, there is no network icon in the applet.
I installed usb_modeswitch, modemmanager, mobile-broadband-provider-info. He added the networkmanager daemon and added my user to the network.
no error appears in log files

The only problem was my ignorance , to create a connection for my usb modem, you must go to the activities menu -> Applications -> Network Connections.

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

i pushed gnome-shell 3.0.1-2 which contains a lot of network fixes. now if you click on auto broadband from mobile section it will start the mobile wizard.
for others functionality issues please report them to bugzilla.gnome.org
