smb4k

I am unable to enumerate shares on the listed hosts in Smb4k.

I performed pacman -Syu today.
Then I installed samba and used the default smb.conf file without any changes.

I installed Smb4k and executed it in KDE 4.4.
I performed the activity asked in the post install instructions:

"Note: To enable mounting and unmounting of smb/cifs shares as
==> user, you will need to issue the following command as root:
# chmod +s $(which mount.cifs) $(which umount.cifs"

In Smb4k it list my two different workgroups:

-Workgroup
-Mygroup

Within Workgroup:

Windows 7 Machine with correct IP address
Netgear Stora with correct IP address*

Within Mygroup:

Mycomputer with correct IP address*

*The text color for these entries is dark blue rather than black for the windows machine.

When I click on either machine that status bar will say: Querying host for list of shares...

Its does this for quite some time and then days done, but displays nothing. There is no prompt for a password. Both computers have shares that are account/password associated.

I tried right clicking and placing the authentication information in the form for each network device and then re-clicked on it. It repeats the same as above and does not display any shares.

I installed smbclient.

In the command line I used smbclient -l machineIP.
This asked for a password which I entered and enumerated all of the shares correctly.

I used smbtree. I was able to list my machine in mygroup correctly.
However for the other two machines it said "cli_start_connection: failed to connect to Stora<20> (0.0.0.0) Error NT_STATUS_Unsuccessful.

What do I need to do to get smb4k to correctly display shares and allow me to mount them?

The older I get the less time I have.
