[SOLVED] aptitude equivalent

On Debian, aptitude is very useful to see what packages have been newly added to the repo after doing a $pacman -Sy equivalent. Does a tool like aptitude exist with this functionality for pacman?

And if what you want is all packages updates with details you may check the archlinux's package rss feed: http://www.archlinux.org/packages/?sort=-last_update

Re: [SOLVED] aptitude equivalent

Thanks for the tips! Will look for an adequate RSS reader now...

EDIT: sorry, but how is http://www.archlinux.org/packages/?sort=-last_update an RSS feed? I don't get it. Anyone there know where I can get a feed to this page?
