Speed Up Boot Process

My bootchart:

http://imgur.com/JlOu8

When I look at my bootchart there is around 5 to 8 seconds of inactivity  before modules start to load.
Does anyone what what scsi eh0 -5 on my bootchart represent?

This may be the 6 SATA ports on my   GA-P55A-UD3.

So far I have set the hooks in mkinitcpio.conf to:
--snip--
HOOKS="base udev autodetect sata filesystems"

and made a new kernel image.

Have also set daemons in/etc/rc.conf

DAEMONS=(syslog-ng dbus network @netfs @crond)

commented out unused terminals and read the following wiki page

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Im … erformance

Anything else I can try?
Thanks in advance.
