[SOLVED] No /etc/mtab

My mtab is gone and thus nothing seems to work. I cannot write anything as "no space left on device". cfdisk works, fstab looks ok. x among other things wont start at boot or otherwise for the apparent lack of space, which in reality is not the case. Dual booted windows crashes at boot. Wrote this on a cell, thus the brevity. thanks for any help in advance.

Re: [SOLVED] No /etc/mtab

In a command line
sudo ln -s /proc/self/mounts /etc/mtab

Report back

Re: [SOLVED] No /etc/mtab

That fixed df and it showed that rootfs was indeed full. pacman -Scc cleared 5gigs and everything seems to be in order now. Thank you!
