Running nautilus as root [SOLVED]

Hello,

I'm trying to run nautilus as root:

I get the following message: “Nautilus could not create the required folder "/root/.config/nautilus". Before running Nautilus, please create the following folder, or set permissions such that Nautilus can create it.”

There is an x mark on the root folder and I cannot create the required folder.

Any idea how to fix this?

Thank,
jmak

Re: Running nautilus as root [SOLVED]

What command do you run to try opening nautilus as root?

To open the root directory, you need to become root in the terminal.
