[Solved] Gnome 3 notifications area icons glitch

I updated today after about a month and I see the following problem with gnome3:
The icons in the notification area (bottom right) all have the same icon (either dropbox or wicd in my case whichever loads first after bootup). This persists even when I open an instance of empathy or vlc.

See bottom right of the picture for visual explanation. -- http://db.tt/cv0HkY6

I haven't found any posts on other people experiencing this. Is there a fix?

thanks.

Bug in current nvidia driver, see nvnews forum for example.

Wait until nvidia fixes it or use nouveau instead. hmm

Optional: Go to nvnews forum and complain about it wink

Thanks for the reply. Can you link me to a thread/bug report that lists this.

Seems rather odd that faulty icons would be effected by graphics card driver.

I'm getting this also. Mildly annoying. Glad I came across this thread though, I was starting to think the dropbox AUR I installed caused it.
