compiz standalone and gnome apps gtk+

Hi,

set up my arch box with compiz standalone. Everything runs fine so far. I choosed lxappaerance for changing icons and gtk theme. Before, i wrote my icon and gtk theme direct in gtkrc-2.0. But the theme not applys to gnome apps like gedit and gnome-terminal. What's the problem here ? I tried starting my compiz session with gnome-settings-daemon but that messed everything up.

Re: compiz standalone and gnome apps gtk+

Those are gtk3 apps probably. See the gnome wiki on how to change their theme.

Edit: if you want to run gnome apps, you probably want to run gnome-session too.
