[SOLVED]Kindle Calibre Sync

Hello, I just got a new kindle and am trying to transfer ebooks. I finally got the device mounting and am using calibre to mange ebooks. However I have one issue, if I want the ebooks I have transferred to actually go on the device I need to do a sync in terminal. I think this is a problem for usb storage devices in general, because I have to do it for everything. I am usually udiskie to automatically mount it.

Any help is much appreciated.

NoxSec,

perhaps the "flush" mount option will help you:

That being said, I never used it.

I always transfer books and news articles to my Kindle though email. using the mail address you get from Amazon when you register
your kindle: username@kindle.com
