http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=32072 has a loooot of votes so people are using it alright.

[multilib] is stable, if that's what you're asking about.

Re: skype & flashplugin without lib32 ?

all flashplugin-prerelease x86_64 have serious holes that are fixed only in the newest flashplugin releases, the last one is a zero day hole that can expose gmail passwords.

nobody should use this version and it should be deleted from aur

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Correction: lib32-* packages do not replace their 64-bit counterparts. They are installed alongside, under /usr/lib32.

If you want to use skype, then I'm affraid there is no other way.

I'm using 64 flashplugin from aur and it works fine for me (it's an old version though, probably a couple of months, so not sure how the newest ones fare).

PS. A couple of packages will be replaced by multilib versions, which provide both 64 and 32 libs, don't remember which ones though...

Really??? How come I never heard about this?? My Gmail got hacked about two weeks ago hmm Wonder if it was this? Hmm...Now I'm tempted to switch back to the multilib, even though sometimes that one doesn't work right (video tearing on TV out last time I tried, worth another try now though maybe).

Re: skype & flashplugin without lib32 ?

Well, after switchinbg to the multilib one for like a day, I'm alread switching back because it's really buggy tongue I'll use whatever works, which happens to be the prerelease. Besides, who knows what caused my Gmail problems, could be plently of other things (PSN hack maybe?), it's not like I visit sites with malicious Flash, just Youtube and stuff. Maybe I should install Flashblock or Noscript or somehting along those lines though, just to be safe. EDIT: Just installed Flashblock, I'm good to go smile
