/usr/share/kbd/consolefonts/sun12x22.psfu.gz for gnome-terminal

I really like the console font /usr/share/kbd/consolefonts/sun12x22.psfu.gz and am wondering if it's possible to use it as my default font for my X terminals such as gnome-terminal.

I have never used it myself, but there's a package called psftools in AUR that lets you convert psf format into others. Maybe together with xorg-bdftopcf you can get what you want?
