Looking for a keyring to use in Openbox

Hi,

I would like to use a keyring or a way to store passwords. The one criteria I have is that it should work well in the cli so that I can extract a password and use it in a script.

I've done some searching and python-keyring seems to almost fill my needs. I was wondering if there's a program to manage it.

Suggestions please smile

Re: Looking for a keyring to use in Openbox

There are plenty. Search the package databases for e.g. "password": pacman -Ss password
Also you may want to check the AUR for this.

BTW: I use "pwsafe" in my openbox system.

To know or not to know ...
... the questions remain forever.

Re: Looking for a keyring to use in Openbox

I already searched around using yaourt. As you said there are plenty, I then googled a bunch of them and found a couple articles about python-keyring.  Which is why I was interested in it. I'll give pwsafe a try. So far it's looking pretty good.
