Solved - Bunch of useless programs with same icon
OK just got arch up and running. I went to view all of the programs where i noticed a bunch of programs with the same icons there are about 5 of them.. Should i remove them or leave them there. When i click on them they usually hand there or not respond.

where did you see them ? in the tray? in a file-manager?

In the applications tab under the gnome splash page. It's all an icon with an ethernet cable on it.

will do. this is the bare minimum of arch so i should know by now there will not be any useless things on the default install
