Hey guys, i installed gnome via pacman -S gnome but that installed a bunch of stuff i didn't want like ephiny browser etc. what is the pacman command for the bare bones installation of gnome like just the gui?

Epiphany / Evolution are pretty dug in deep and cannot be cleanly removed due to providing other dependencies - as far as I am aware
I believe future versions are to be more flexible - ie using alternate calendar client other than evolution

well, with pacman -S gnome your are going to have a minimal gnome. epiphany is there because you need a browser to start reading wikis and such. you can always skip installing epiphany if you want
sudo pacman -S gnome --ignore epiphany

Cool, will that also ignore the epiphany bookmark manager or will i need another ignore flag for that?
