Title says it all. Basically libreoffice opens up and all the menus and things are in german so naturally I can't read any of it. Is there any way to change this?

Did you make sure to include "libreoffice-en-US"?

@karol
Didn't work
@ralvez
Well I used to use it for a long time but since it changed to libreoffice I guess it didn't include english..... but getting that package fixed it for me.

You were lucky! I would be okay if mine had opened in German as I can sort of read it, but it opened in some weird language that may as well have been martian! Have you ever tried finding the Settings and Language options in Martian? It isn't fun! In the end I uninstalled and re-installed since I couldn't find an answer. Works fine now.
I can only assume that when I first installed it I must have not noticed that English wasn't the default option. I made sure I selected the right option when I re-installed.
