USB Mouse not working

Hi!

I have a Microsoft USB Mouse. When I connect it to my laptop, I see the red-light blinking in the mouse, and a Message informing me about Microsoft USB mouse is also shown in 'dmesg', but the mouse doesn't work.

When I can /dev/input/mouse1, I do see output when I move the mouse - but how to get it working?

Re: USB Mouse not working

Please check xorg to see if you have hotplug enabled or you might need to configure it by hand.

Re: USB Mouse not working

Hi!

Sorry for late reply... I was one holiday and just got back to my old computer.

Here is the thing: I have evdev enabled. It detects all event* in /dev/input from /dev/input/event0 to /dev/input/event12

But /dev/input/event13 is my mouse! That is no where mentioned in Xorg logs sad

What to do?
