My problem is when I'm trying to play a song, it attempts to play the song then fails and runs back to idle. I'm thinking it's because I don't have the correct codec, although even with some Googling around and to my avail I've found nothing relating to both my issue and getting codecs.
What I've tried
I've installed the extras from the AUR, which I'm not entirely sure what it did although nevertheless still didn't fix the problem.
I've noticed when I ran pacman -Ss banshee it says it's a, Gnome music player [installed] although I'm running xfce4 could that be the problem?
Googling around for solutions but have attained nothing

Solved, I just installed the Gstreamer/Totem and now Banshee seems to work.
