[SOLVED] Gnome cannot start again after the update to 3.2

Hi everyone.

Today, I have installed the gnome update. Now the gdm no longer starts and if I use Kdm and try to start the gnome desktop it just crashes. I have tried to reinstall all the gnome packages using 'pacman -Syu gnome gnome-extra'  giving me this error after every updated package:

"usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/org.gnome.login-screen.gschema.xml: S'ha produït un error a la línia 5 caràcter 1: invalid name 'enable-fingerprint-authentication': maximum length is 32.  This entire file has been ignored."

This is the xml  file: http://pastebin.com/LWZBEF0X

What should I do? Any idea how to fix it?

PD: I have installed Kde at least to have graphical acces to my pc, but it is a mess, please help me! wink
Sorry for my bad english.

Re: [SOLVED] Gnome cannot start again after the update to 3.2

delete /var/lib/gdm/.config/dconf

if this won't help, paste /var/log/gdm/:0-greeter.log

Re: [SOLVED] Gnome cannot start again after the update to 3.2

If I run gdm doing: "/etc/rc.d/gdm start" It shows DONE, but also says "usr/sbin/gdm-binary: symbol lookup error usr/sbin/gdm-binary: undefined symbol: gcclosure_marshal_generic"

/var/log/gdm/:0-greeter.log: http://pastebin.com/ibaeAXpq

http://developer.gnome.org/gobject/stab … al-generic

Since 2.30

that means you don't have glib2 2.30 because you didn't fully update your system or you replaced the stock package with some crappy build from aur.

if is the second reason, i suggest to check all of them with pacman -Qm and replaced them with stock packages
