Does information you can ge from /usr/share/kbd/keymaps/i386/ are not enoght? Or please explain better as I don't fully understand.
Or do you just need ISO 639-1 language code list?

Thanks, I needed the language code list.
For my information, Ukraine is "uk" or "ua"?  In KDE Control Centre shows: "ua". In the lists its: "uk".

That's all right.
uk = Ukrainian (language), UA = Ukraine (country).
But Ukrainian keymap is ua.

I use the following settings:

LOCALE="uk_UA.KOI8-U" 
KEYMAP=ua 
CONSOLEFONT=koi8u_8x16 
CONSOLEMAP=
