Is there any specific process now to move from the [KDE-Unstable] Plasma to the [testing] one (or even the [extra]/stable one)?

I have just installed Plasma 6 from testing repo and my system broke.
Wayland session cannot be started, the apps do not have title bar on X11.
Possibly something wrong with kwin.

Just update. If you want to use qt6.6 remove KDE-unstable and Syuu.

Possibly something wrong with kwin.

Same exact issue here.  Sending this from a very broken X11 session as I cannot get Wayland to start.  I'm assuming that all the packages are not currently in the repo.

Install kwin 6.0.0-3 from kde-unstable repo.

Install kwin 6.0.0-3 from kde-unstable repo.

Don't see that yet.

Do you have upgraded breeze-plymouth (5.93.0-1 -> 6.0.0-1) I just had this upgrade and relogged. Now have titlebars.

kleopatra depends on mimetreeparser which is in staging and isoimagewriter is also in staging (no problem unless you don't use the meta package)

So i think you're better off at KDE-Unstable right now

Not sure where to mention this but kwayland-integration deps needs to be updated to kwayland & kwindowsystem instead of kwayland5 & kwindowsystem5 (and i assume the qt deps also needs a bump to qt6 maybe not since the bump was reverted on kde's repo)

It wasn't before (and KF6 and QT6 were working beautifully) but it is now, and the result is the same: KDE plasma not starting and back to sddm. I checked the journal and is pretty much the same as before.

The (global and unnecessary) part of my question should've implied that it should not be exported. Likely something not being built yet or so or your mirrors not yet fully catching up.

It is not exported now because other qt apps (telegram, qbittorent, etc.) doesn't work.

About the updated mirrors I have doubts because my mirrorlist is 'reflected' and the error started this morning.

I just did it and "Nothing to do".

Edit: By the way, after take a peek in 'KDE-unstable' repository I miss kwin (6.0.0-6) and layer-shell-qt (6.0.0-2).

Edit 2: Problem solved after install the previously mentioned kwin and layer-shell-qt.

Also just "upgraded" from kde-unstable. Commented it out, pacman -Syuu and everything worked out of the box. Appreciate the smooth transition.

Upgraded to KDE 6.0 by adding the "extra-testing" repo and "pacman -Syu" to a working KDE 5 installation on a VM and mostly everything works fine.
I was not able to get the virtual keyboard working when logging in using SDDM - not a showstopper though.

Upgraded my existing Plasma 5 by adding the extra-testing repo. With years of tweaks and who knows what else I have lying around, I was not expecting such a smooth upgrade. Wayland working out of the box. Qmmp icons have never looked quite right, but now they do.

Thanks to arojas and any other packagers for all your work.

Icon label on folder widget is white with black shadow on white background with Breeze.
Difficult to read.
Is there a way to fix it? With plasma 5 I had black text in this case.
