Just install Compositor with Xcompmgr see: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Usi … _extension. And in my .xinitrc I have xcompmgr -Ccf for shadows and fading.

Thanks, it's conky with visibility over top set up to blend in. I will post my configs if I can find a good file hosting service. Does anybody know of a good one? Thanks
