Re: Hal wont eject [SOLVED]

I switched from Gnome to Xfce yesterday and just ran into this problem. This is the first time I've tangled with the ABS, and I have to say, it went rather well. smile  Thanks for the PKGBUILD!  The patch works very well!

Re: Hal wont eject [SOLVED]

I just used the patch and ABS to build exo, it built and installed fine. What do I do now to "apply" it? I still cannot eject my drive properly.

So do I. I appreciate KISS, but leaving obvious bugs unfixed is not a smart policy.

Re: Hal wont eject [SOLVED]

If you had Thunar running in daemon mode (started as Thunar --daemon) then
using "Thunar -q" will quit all instances of Thunar. After that, if you restart Thunar
the problem will have gone away.

Re: Hal wont eject [SOLVED]

Not being able to eject with my eject button was really starting to aggrivate me.

I know this tread is a bit old but I just had to say thank you.  This patch worked perfectly!

By the way, why isnt this in AUR?

Re: Hal wont eject [SOLVED]

I created a package on AUR to fix this problem: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=27439
