Anybody got flash on youtube running with icedtea6?

huh? what do you mean? there's no relation between flash and icedtea, besides youtube does not use java.

To know recursion, you must first know recursion.

How about some information? What Applets are you trying to run? If you launch your browser from a terminal, what's the output on the screen? Something would be helpful.

I am kinda new, so I wasn't sure on what to do. But this is what it said when ran in terminal.

No worries. It's just helpful to add as much information as possible.

I can confirm that at least some applets at http://dan-ball.jp don't work with openjdk6. This, of course, doesn't help you at all. It would be interesting to see if they work with the regular JRE. Anyone out there willing to help?

By the way, this is the first applet I haven't seen work with openjdk6. I've seen a few work not real well (mostly at Sun!?!?).

Yes. There are Java applets that run perfectly with openjdk6. As I said before, this is the first failure that I've seen.

Well that is horrible, cause this one game is the only reason I have to get java...
