Having used KDEmod 4.1 for a while now, I finally went back to good ol' Xfce4.   Now, if only the KDE 4 tray icons didn't look so crap on my panel.

What can be seen: Xfce4, including Xfwm4 (blended-gtk theme), Xfce4-panel (Vista-ish!  Or perhaps KDE 4-ish, depending on your point of view.   There's a nice article on this thing.).

LOL. What's the point of using Xfce4 if you are sticking to Opera, Amarok, Kopete and Kget?

The point is that Xfce4 is not as slow and bug-ridden as KDE 4. x)  And I don't want to trash an application I like just because I've moved from its "native" environment.

Nothing special... Elegant Brit, Font is Mouse Deco, some standard screenlets.

I was having issues with Xcompmgr, so I had to stop using it. I did change the borders of Evilwm to two pixel solid black and I now use Xbindkeys to launch things (so now my Windows-key has a purpose again).

i read about that hg clone, but what's the difference? i think i like the default dwm

the `hg clone` command gets the latest development version of dwm. There's really no reason to use the development branch of dwm unless you need a certain feature.

It's listen media player... pretty nice, but I'm only using it until amarok2 is released (qgtkstyle w/ qt4 will make it look native)
