Go ahead and laugh at it sad  It's horrible I know.

Also, how do I get my memory to go back down after I've ended the program that made it jump high?  I'm not to worried about it as I've got 8gb ram, but still...

@methuselah: very nice set-up (previous shots on P19 too) - I've never been a big fan of xfce but you've made it very attractive.

1) Any chance you'll be releasing the gtk-theme?
2) Could I have a look at your .xdefaults please?

Thanks

If you'd really stopped it then the memory would be back, no?

Here is a desktop I made last night, mostly a hackjob. Custom openbox, modified clearlooks colors with slickness-black for lxpanel, eikon icons, wallpaper is aerostream.

Re: February 2009 Screenshots

I just started using Arch Linux this Thursday (tried installing it last year without success) and have not really used Openbox before.

Here's how it's set up so far smile

Edit:  The openbox theme is actually Clearlooks-Grey-Dark; there was a typo in the folder name.

If you want the real home folder icon for your theme, you have to rename a png file in the icon theme directory.

Copy this in a term:

mv ~/.icons/Meliae-Dark/scalable/places/folder-home.png ~/.icons/Meliae-Dark/scalable/places/gnome-fs-home.png

Then restart X and it should be good.

Thank you, that worked perfectly.  I hadn't really looked closely at the pcmanfm side-panel yet to see there was an icon problem .  I appreciate the tip. smile

Thank you tj and celthias,

I'll eventually upload my murrine themes.... as well as the matching emerald theme. When I finally get around to it I'll be sure to post the links.

Re: February 2009 Screenshots

Very nice desktops.  Though, why would you want icons on a Openbox WM?  It's meant to be minimalistic and clean, not cluttered by icons.
