Not much changed since last time really.  I played around with my console colors, made the Conky background fully transparent, and added a weather map that updates around every 15 minutes.

I want to mess with the weather map more, though...  I'd like to make it so that the background map is almost nonexistant, leaving only the weather pattern overlay.  I wonder if I can use a reference (i.e. no weather patterns) and teach imagemagick to get rid of similar areas.

Don't mind the horrific memory usage.  There's a huge memory leak somewhere so I have to restart my X session every few days.  Usually, it's on the order of 600-800MB.

Use bFilter or Privoxy for adblocking, need to use the --proxy-server=IP:port switch though. Both work well, I liked aspects of both programs but decided on Privoxy in the end as I found bFilter blocked too many things that weren't ads. Both are in the AUR and/or Repos.

Thanks, I have privoxy installed - but i liked the option to disable adblock with 1 click. Doing the same with privoxy isn't that fast.

a nice simple set up with xmonad, nothing fancy.  The terminal is a transparent aterm (so I can enjoy my wallpapers), weechat-curses, firefox, mplayer.
