Well just remove the nvidia-lts package, upgrade your system and install nvidia-lts again and set up a dual-boot for old and new kernel and then try it on your own. On my x86_64 Archlinux, "it just works" (tm) with 2.6.35, so there is a good chance it will work on your maschine too

Alright, I did that. Now on starting WoW I get:

Error: API mismatch: the NVIDIA kernel module has version 256.53,
but this NVIDIA driver component has version 256.35.  Please make
sure that the kernel module and all NVIDIA driver components
have the same version.

I reinstalled the nvidia-package again, and I use what I think is the latest kernel (after all I ran a full update) Linux black-beauty 2.6.35-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Sep 29 08:45:18 CEST 2010 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3600+ AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux

How do I fix this?
