acpid 1.0.6-1 package broken?!

hello!

i have wrote my own wireless-script to connect automatically to a known wireless-network. i start the script with my wireless-hotkey on my asus notebook. since the last package upgrade of acpid i get an error while starting the script by pressing the button. when i start the script by hand there is no error.

i also found out, that "tail -f /var/log/acpid" does not log the acpi-events anymore. with the package-version 1.0.4-2 i have no problems.

i have rebuild the package via abs, but the problem still remains.

any other persons here with that problem?

I created a bug report for acpid's lack of logging.  In the bug report, you will find a new syslog-ng.conf file that solves the problem.
