hi,
I have just realized that the after the latest emerald upgrade it behaves really weird. I cannot resize windows if I want to drag by their right or bottom side. The cursor does not change to resize arrow and that's it. As soon as I downgrade the problem is gone.
Some details about my config:
KDE 3.5.8
problematic emerald: emerald-0.2.1-2 and libwnck 2.20.0-1 (emerald is dependent on specific version of libwnck)
ok version: emerald-0.2.1-1 and libwnck-2.18.3-1
can anybody confirm that?
Cheers
waldek

I had this problem with the latest round of updates and GNOME 2.20. I have since removed Beryl/Emerald bc it was annoying and ruined my experience. I tried to get Compiz-Fusion working but have yet to have success. Oops.
Anyway, the re-size problem was funky here too.

I opened a bug report on FlySpray:
FS#8328 - emerald, libwnck - window resize problem

I had this problem too.

THX! After upgrading to gnome 2.20, my window decorations were gone. Downgrading as you said fixed the problems...
Zl.

Where can I download libwnck 2.18 version from? Unfortunately I did 'pacman -Sc' before I noticed the problem.
edit: ok, I found it in CVS, but decorations disappeared after downgrading...
In the bug link above Romashka wrote that beryl will be removed from arch packages. Does it mean archlinux switches to compiz?
edit2: ah, found it finally, we move to compiz fusion.
