Here's is my mirrorlist: http://pastebin.archlinux.org/24771
Ok, whenever I do
sudo pacman -Syu
I get:
[tjl@tjl-laptop ~]$ sudo pacman -Syu
error: config file /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist, line 39: directive 'Server' not recognized.

Thanks for any help provided, this really annoys me. This has been happening since the new pacman upgrade.

Interesting. Can you do 'pacman -v --debug' and pastebin that for me? I don't see any immediately apparent problems in your mirrorlist. Posting your pacman.conf might also be helpful.
EDIT: don't need sudo, duh.

You should uncomment the #[testing] line (and the #[compiz-fusion] line as well).

Ok the testing repo is updating my applications, I commented out compiz-fusion because it wouldn't connect and I don't use it

That was your orignal problem- pacman was trying to add a Server to the [options] section which is clearly not possible.
People that find this thread- UNCOMMENT THE [HEADER] PART TOO!!!

Except that you didn't comment it out correctly.

Thanks for explaining, toofishes
stonecrest, thanks for your help as well. Yeah I forgot to comment out the "Server" part of the repo, if that what you meant.
