brasero and libburn

How do I enable libburn in brasero as per the installation instruction:

Code:

To enable libburn backend you need to activate it in GConf:
/apps/brasero/config/libburn_burn
 /apps/brasero/config/libburn_iso

But I can find any entry like

Code:

/apps/brasero/config/libburn_burn
 /apps/brasero/config/libburn_iso

in gconf gui.

I think you are not the only person that can't find them:

Re: brasero and libburn

Those options don't seem to be in brasero 0.7.1:

EDIT: The trick now is to alter the priorities to promote your chosen burn options.

Re: brasero and libburn

Re: brasero and libburn

they changed that stuff completely for 0.7.0 as all the backends are plugins now.
that post-install message was only valid for 0.6.x and should be removed now.

Re: brasero and libburn

Is there any reason to use the libburn backend? Is it better for some reason?
