Re: Do not get too excited but......

Fine when I left them :-)..... had a great time cannot wait to go again

Now -Sc is better first as you do not really want to wipe all packages, if you are happy with your system as it is [and know how to abs makepkg etc!] then -Scc

The real reason was I thought it would be nice for pacman stats....

Ok... will make a gui wrapper in glade get back to you :-)

Five years learnt a little more than that along the way

Re: Do not get too excited but......

$ du -h /var/cache/pacman/pkg
0       /var/cache/pacman/pkg

Should I feel embarassed?

I need real, proper pen and paper for this.

Its not a problem most new systems have large hard drives, only it would be nice to know say at upgrade time the size of cache

Re: Do not get too excited but......

Hi, can someone with a huuuge cachedir post his "ls /var/cache/pacman/pkg/" ?
I need it in order to try to write a script which cleans the cache.

Thanks
