Split libpurple and pidgin

I think that libpurple should be split from the pidgin package so that those that want to use something that requires it, like telepathy-haze, won't have to pull in the entire Pidgin messenger as a dependency.  Would this be a good idea?

I agree with this. I also think finch should be separated from pidgin (although this is less of a big deal). Pidgin is a brilliant gui instant messenger, but finch is pretty low on the hierarchy of cli messengers.

But yeah, needing pidgin in order to use empathy doesn't make sense.
