After upgrading policykit, hal, dbus and dbus-core to [testing] version I cannot automount pendrive in gnome.
It gives error "IsCallerPrivileged() failed" and later "DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply".
Anyone now the reason?

Well I'm experiencing the same problem. (gnome 2.24). Is there any workaround?

Well thanks kensal for your suggestion, it was only my attempt to get the needed info to be able to mount my pen drive again. (before the fix)

The problem is still present on KDE, created a new bug report http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/13162
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

I got a similar error as blasse mentioned. After a reboot every thing worked fine (not a linux way tho' :-) ) in GNOME DE.
