Genius webcam

here http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Webcam I found

zr364xx

This driver can be used for many webcams like:
Aiptek PocketDV 3300
Creative PC-CAM 880
Konica Revio 2
Genius Digital Camera
Maxell Maxcam PRO DV3

You can find the full list of supported devices here. You can find a PKGBUILD for this driver on the AUR

but I can't find in AUR PKGBUILD for zr364xx driver,did anybody found it ever?

Re: Genius webcam

This module goes with kernel26: /lib/modules/2.6.28-ARCH/kernel/drivers/media/video/zr364xx.ko
So, no additional packages are needed (however, I don't know if it will work with your camera).

Re: Genius webcam

What's the problem? The wiki states clearly the module your camera requires, and it's right in kernel26.

Windows was made for looking at success from a distance through a wall of oversimplicity. Linux removes the wall, so you can just walk up to success and make it your own.

Re: Genius webcam

I'm having the same problem.

Additional information:

Camera: Aiptek PocketDV 3300

$ dmesg|tail
usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
usb 2-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
zr364xx 2-1:1.0: Zoran 364xx compatible webcam plugged
zr364xx 2-1:1.0: model 08ca:0109 detected
usb 2-1: 320x240 mode selected
usb 2-1: Zoran 364xx controlling video device 0
$ lsusb
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 08ca:0109 Aiptek International, Inc.

Neither Cheese nor Flash Player recognize this cam.

Any ideas?

Re: Genius webcam

Still no solution. dmesg and lsusb both recognize the cam, no erros occur. "cat /dev/video0" produces a lot of junk and is only present when the cam is connected, which I think is the expected behavior. My user is in the video group.

But no software can actually show me an image. Tried VLC, Cheese and Flash Player.

EDIT:
VLC gave me a bit of additional information:
[00000415] v4l2 demux error: device does not support streaming i/o
