Hello,
I installed openbox and wbar. Whenever I start openbox I shows a block around wbar in the set backgroundcolor. This disrupts the wallpaper.
I am using feh to set the wallpaper, and I also tried Nitrogen with the same result.
This is my autostart.sh;
. $GLOBALAUTOSTART
#STARTUPPROGS
#nitrogen --restore &
wbar &
feh --bg-center /home/bart/intoflames-1920x1200.jpg &
Does anybody have an idea what can fix this?
thx in advance!

I think you need a composite manager, because wbar try to use real transparency.
Install and add xcompmgr in your autostart.sh. That should work.

Ok, figured it out. For people who have the same problem add this to autostart.sh (instead of 'wbar &)';
(sleep 1s && wbar) &
this way the painting of the wallpaper gets completed, and then is followed by starting wbar.

Wbar works fine for me until i cover it with another window. Part of wallpaper remains around bar. Anyone got an idea how to fix it?

I'd suggest you open a new topic for your issue, Sojek.
