Re: Arch Linux Newsletter for March, 2009 Discussion

There are still some typos:
be our guess > be our guest
wont > won't (or will not)
whos > whose
A nice read, anyway ...

hmm, it's seems that dotfiles has a problem with / in file name (which is actually quite logical and it's my fault to name those files that way). unfortunately i didn't notice that these links don't work anymore, because they worked when i uploaded those files (and some time after that too).

it's a problem, because i moved to new setup this month and i don't have these exact same config files anymore.
but i've uploaded some config files to my server: http://pub.phisphere.org/dotfiles/

there you can find .Xdefaults with different colours, but same setup. also awesome theme file with layout icons, awesomerc.lua etc.

next time i'll be smarter when naming my config files. (:

best regards,
verner (phisphere)

Follow the countdown to this epic event with
`watch --interval=1 'bc <<< "1234567890 - $(date +%s)"'`!

that was on february 14th. you could follow it with that code smile

LOL, is true, so why is that there? it escapes my mind. I will fix that as well to look like a past sentence.

Re: Arch Linux Newsletter for March, 2009 Discussion

Thanks guys, I think that every single new letter is better than the older one.

It's a real honor use and be part of this family.

BTW, Maryan Linux was included on March 3th 2009 in DistroWatch, since we are moving to Arch Linux as our new base, we are getting many success.  This is couldn't be possible without your work. Thanks again.

Great job!

Thanks for the compliments, well, as you may have noticed we have not much time to proofread it all that well, time is limited to content and we spend like an hour or 2 on proofreading, so your proofreading is appreciated.

You should pass the newsletter in a spell checker. It will only take a few minutes and will find all these typos and spelling mistakes.

I have aspell enabled in vim -- most of those typos were correctly spelled words that were supposed to be different words.
