100% CPU usage!

After a recent system update (although I don't see how that's possible since most packages were related to gnome 2.26) the cpu usage constantly peaks 100% or thereabouts - when system is idle.
I've found that x-server seems to be the culprit:

Top command produces:  2964 root      19  -1 63040  35m  11m R  [CPU USAGE IN PERCENT=] 93  1.7  20:41.14 X

I don't see any serious errors there. Any ideas?
I use Nvidia-96xx module and never had any problems with it. Also tried 173xx but same result. Removing nvidia-module altogether doesn't solve it either, so it seems nvidia is innocent. smile

The nvidia packages from extra should work fine with xorg-server from testing.

New xorg server (xorg-server 1.5.3-5) in stable fixed this problem, just upgrade via pacman -Syu.
