After updating on Sunday, upon reboot I noticed the directfb update appears to break the qingy graphical login. When typing in either the username or password field every character is repeated. For example if you type "test" , "tteesstt" appears. Have had no issues previously and switching to a text qingy session or an agetty console allows access. I'm not using the testing repo for anything and I Syu'ed again a few minutes ago just to make sure I'm completely up to date...
Is anyone else experiencing this? I searched the bugtracker for qingy and directfb and got nothin.... FYI, the FAQ on the qingy site mentions a similar issue with an older version of directfb and Suse which led me to believe this might be an issue with directfb. http://qingy.sourceforge.net/faq.php#Q4 … 20problems

And did you try to install manually like the suggestion is in the above link ? Can it work so ?

No I did not want to risk breaking something else. I run a pretty "stock" setup... Just wondering if anyone else in the community that is using qingy specifically is experiencing a similar issue with the updated directfb package.

Ah it appears the maintainer of qingy posted a comment and fix for this specifically in AUR. http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=9398

If qingy behaves strangely (like if each keys were pressed twice), add:
disable-module=linux_input
to /etc/directfbrc
If the file doesn't exist, create it.
That solved the issue for me as well. Thanks Snowman!
