arch in virtualbox... "aborted"?

When I was installing X on my Arch in the virtualbox, I pressed Ctrl+Alt+Backspace by mistake, and it killed my host OS's X.
And my virtualbox looks like this now:

Everytime the loading process comes here, the virtualbox will close the window for arch itself.
Help...

Restarting VirtualBox should allow you to (successfully) restart your VM.

"change the state of arch virtual machine to something else"->no.
my arch will boot, but not successfully. It will "shutdown" before I can login.

I tried restarting virtualbox, but it doesn't work.

Re: arch in virtualbox... "aborted"?

Hi,
I had the same problem.  Apparently it is a problem with the kernel 2.6.30 as discussed in this bug report - http://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/2149.  I have not found a solution yet by searching around this and the Virtualbox forum.
Good luck!

Re: arch in virtualbox... "aborted"?

I also had the same problem. Took me quite a bit of time to find out that it was the lastest linux kernel when I did pacman -Syu after a fresh install and not VirtualBox.

To fix it I had to add "kernel26" and "kernel26-firmware" to IgnorePkg in /etc/pacman.conf first thing after I reinstalled so that it wouldn't upgrade the kernel.

IgnorePkg = kernel26 kernel26-firmware

Seems to be working so far.
