Lyx export failures after texlive update

Hi all,

After yesterday's texlive package update, lyx now fails to preview documents in pdf/dvi/postcript. Errors are as follows:

pdflatex preview:

File does not exist: /tmp/lyx_tmpdir.J10608/lyx_tmpbuf0/sem3.pdf

dvi preview:

Same as pdflatex error except filename is sem3.dvi

postscript preview:

An error occurred whilst running dvips -o 'sem3.ps' 'sem3.dvi'

Can't find anything else on the forums about this - anyone else having problems and has a solution?

Thanks for the quick reply skottish - that had the solution in it, didn't search properly...

For anyone else who has this issue, this command fixed it for me:

fmtutil --all

Hi,

just got the problem with Lyx and this solved it. That's great.

Maybe I have missed it but the package upgrade didn't advice on that.
It might be a good idea to print a line or two explaining that?

I've just tried this fix and it is not working. Any other ideas that I can try?
