Thanks heaps for the work you guys have put in on this project. smile

I used to be surprised that I was still surprised by my own stupidity, finding it strangely refreshing.
Well, now I don't find it refreshing.
I'm over it!

If you're starting nethack for the first time, you probably will want nethack-patch from the repo smile

Re: The Archlinux Gaming Repository Project

Look into enabling the hpmon patch. They may also be using the statuscolors patch which unfortunately I can't include due to patch conflicts with dumplog. Hpmon provides a reduced version of that functionality.

Re: The Archlinux Gaming Repository Project

curious, can you guys include packages required to run specific emulators?  I'm trying to run an emulator called pSX and am not sure what packages I need installed to get it running.  As far as I know, it comes 32bit only.  As you can tell by my post count, I'm pretty new around these parts and am trying to get myself familiar with what goes on around here.  Thanks in advance!

Re: The Archlinux Gaming Repository Project

Generally, playstation emulators require you to have a dump of the playstation BIOS to work. The BIOS is proprietary and not something we can legally distribute.

Re: The Archlinux Gaming Repository Project

not looking for the bios... just the necessary packages to get it running.  I'm installing arch64 and pSX is a 32bit program.  The only thing I have figured out on my own is that it requires gtkglext (which requires gtk2)... but aside from that, I'm a bit out of the loop.  I'm sure gtk2 has plenty of deps of it's own... but I'm just looking for the deps necessary to run pSX.  There can't be too many, as I have run it on the few distros I have tried wtihout having to add anything besides gtkglext... but arch is designed to be built from the ground up, which means some deps that are usually in place because of other programs won't be there.  I probably should start a separate thread for this, but was hoping the answer would be simple enough to not need to start something from scratch separate from this...

Re: The Archlinux Gaming Repository Project

I installed Frets on fire's alarian mod, and when i run FoFiX i get

How can that be solved?
