[SOLVED] Dell Studio XPS 1340: HDMI/ multi GPU problem

Hello everyone!

I have a problem with my xps1340. Nothing i plug into the hdmi port gets recognised by nvidia-settings.
It's a nvidia Geforce 9500M (9400 & 9200 combined). It seems that with my current configuration GPU-1 doesn't get initialised.

Maybe anyone has had the same issue so far? I've been setting up another xorg.conf guided by the xps1330 wiki. The old one set up the devices as card0 and card1 but also did not succeed in setting up card1 (PCI:2:0:0.).
I suspect this to be the problem with hdmi (GPU-1 handles the port?).
I don't exactly know if it is necessary at all, because the nvidia driver might set it (the GPU-1) up itself as needed in the background.
Right now it doesn't seem like it gets initialised at all though.

So any smart heads please tell me how to solve this

edit: Seems to have been related to hardware issues. Graphics adapter and mainboard have been replaced by Dell. Shortly after that a kernel update fixed my problems. Have a ghost device in nvidia-settings now though...
